Alternative Therapies of Peptic Ulcers
Eroded lesions (ulcers) in the innermost wall of the stomach and the adjacent intestinal tract are called peptic ulcers.
Causes
The main causes of peptic ulcers are hyperacidity (caused by hydrochloric acid in the stomach corroding the stomach’s inner lining), overeating, poor dietary habits, excessive alcohol intake, excessive coffee intake, use of tobacco products, certain medications, anxiety, or mental and emotional stress, and food toxins.
Symptoms
Some of the common symptoms of peptic ulcers include a stabbing pain in the upper stomach region one hour after eating or between meals, stomach distension, gas and bloating, mental stress, sleep problems, a weakened system, and bloody stools.
Home remedies for Peptic Ulcers
Eat 2 bananas and drink 1 glass of milk three to four times a day. Bananas neutralize the acids in the system; eat limes or drink limejuice to aid digestion; soak 15 grams of wood apple leaves in water overnight. Strain them the next morning and drink the water. This mixture relieves anxiety and reduces pain.
Boil 250 grams of cabbage in water until the water is reduced by half. Drink the mixture twice a day for peptic ulcer relief; blanch almonds in a blender with milk.
Drink to help reduce acids in the stomach; combine equal amounts of carrot and spinach juices and drink for peptic ulcer relief; moisten fenugreek seeds to make a tea and drink to help cure ulcers; drink 1 glass of raw goat’s milk three times each day to help kill the worms.
Diet
Eat a diet made up of milk, fruits, vegetables, butter, and natural foods. This type of diet will neutralize acid and reduce further production of acid; take natural vitamin supplements.
