Are your herbal medicines safe for pregnancy?
Posted by gnelson on Wednesday 21 Oct 2009
Hi, I was wondering if any of the remedies you suggest on your website are safe for pregnancy. I am not overweight, am maintaining a restricted diet (no potatoes, pasta, rice, bread or sugar in any form) and exercise 5 days a week for at least 30 min each time. But I still have trouble keeping my fasting blood sugars in the normal range (less the 95mg/dl) and I am hungry and sluggish feeling all the time. Any suggestions?

Hello and greetings from Ayurvediccure.com. Thanks for your interest in our products.
Diabetes is a serious disease and it is very important for a pregnant lady to keep blood sugar under control for healthy baby. Herbal remedies are best for pregnant lady because they don`t have any kind of side effect. A pregnant lady can`t do exercises so long walks are good substitute for that. Diabetic diet having more and more fresh vegetables and vitamins are good. We recommend you to take Bitter Melon for better control over blood sugar level and that too safely. Bitter gourd is a vegetable and there is no any harm of it on a pregnant lady. It can be used alone or in combination with other herbal or allopathic medicines to achieve better control over blood glucose level. Take Bitter gourd to have better controls on blood sugar levels. It is a herbal medicine which helps in insulin secretion within our body, maintains normal blood glucose level, increases better absorption and metabolism. It helps in reducing our urge for sugar and utilizing extra sugar and calories present in body. So we recommend you to take your medicine regularly with proper diets. Further queries are welcome.
