Does boiling and slightly frying amla reduces or spoils its properties. I generally take amla after boiling and slightly frying it with little taste maker spices.

Hello and greetings from Ayurvediccure.com
Amla is very rich sourse of vitamin-c. The medicinal properties of amla are mainly due to vitamin C. Boiling, washing and frying certainly results in loss of these precious vitamins from fruits and vegetables but that doesn`t mean we should not wash or boil them. Amla gives best results when taken fresh with milk. Amla fruit can be boiled to make murabba or you can also fry it for increasing taste but it should be taken fresh for maximum benefits. Amla fruit powder or extract is also very rich in medicinal properties. One should take amla regularly for best results. Further queries are welcome.
