    There are many different methods of dealing with stress.  Some of them are healthy and others are not.  Some of the healthiest ways to handle stress are as follows:

    Eat well-balanced meals, refrain from bad habits, such as drinking alcohol and smoking tobacco, think positively, exercise on a regular basis (swimming, cycling, and walking are great stress relievers), make time for family and friends, stick to a budget your family can afford, get annual physical exams, make time for yourself, get 8 hours of sleep each night, and learn to leave work at work when you clock out for the day.  This is very important.

    Many people find it easier to cope with the demands placed upon them if they maintain good physical and mental health.  In addition to the methods listed above, here are some other things you can do to kick stress right out of your life:

    Eat 1 bowl of yogurt each day to fight stress and infection; eat sprouts and sunflower seeds to reduce tension; drink warm water with 1 tsp of honey to calm your nerves;

    Smell the aroma emitted by ajwain seeds to help bring your stress level down.

    Increase the amount of iron and vitamin B in your diet by eating blackstrap molasses.  It is an excellent stress reducer; take hot baths.  They are well known for their ability to relieve stress at the end of a long, hard day; practice meditating and train your mind to think positively.

    Develop an exercise program that you can stick to.  In addition to keeping you physically fit, it will also relieve tension; practice yoga, as it is a very effective method to relieve stress.
