Hi, I need to lower the amount of insulin I give to my diabetic dog, as her paws are cracking. I can only imagine what else is going on inside. A wonderful book by a great dentist recommends Pancreas Tonic, an Ayurvedic product, for restarting the pancreas and increasing insulin receptor sensitivity. He cites his cousin’s dog, who came off insulin totally. Due to her small weight of 14 lbs, I tried the Pancreas Tonic at 1/4 capsule, twice a day with meals. After a few days, she became very hypoglycemic with seizure-like activity. So it works! However, I need guidance with the dosage of insulin throughout the treatment. I’ve searched endlessly on the internet for ayurvedic vets or ayurvedic remedies for pets, even the mfr. is no help. Your “Dybos” product contains Gymnema Sylvestre, which is one of the ingredients in Pancreas Tonic. Can you guide me? Thanks!
