Herbal treatment for Influenza
Influenza is an acute febrile highly contagious viral disease. It generally affects with a toxic and tired condition. Dietetic and a faulty style of living such as lack of proper exercise, worry, living in stuffy rooms, keeping late hours and overwork are the reason for this disease. Mix two tablespoon honey and one teaspoon ginger juice with one teaspoon pepper powder. Take this mix frequently whenever the irritation is troubling you.

Turmeric is useful in curing influenza. Mix one teaspoon of turmeric powder in a cup of warm milk and taken three times a day. It will prevent complications arising from influenza, and also improve the liver which becomes sluggish during the attack.
Onion is good for influenza. Cut one onion into small pieces and pour enough honey to dip the onion. After half an hour take the extract of this mix. This is very useful for all type of throat diseases. You can even eat the sediments.
Crush one piece ginger, one teaspoon pepper and 10 to 12 basil leaves. Boil this mix in a cup of water till half the water is left. Frequently use this decoction for better results.
Fumigation of the burnt flour of finger millet should be inhaled gently in the treatment of this disease. It will increase the blood circulation in the nasal mucosa, open up the stuffed nose and reduce local congestion.
The patient may adopt a well-balanced diet of fresh fruits and raw vegetables. Drinking coffee, tea, tinned foods, spices and greasy foods must be avoided.
