Home remedies for dark circles

Chamomile and mint: Both these herbs are great for the skin ad can be used as under eye tea bags. You can also apply some freshly ground mint leaves under your eyes for 15 minutes to get rid of dark circles.
Diet: Take a diet rich in iron, Vitamin C and folic acid to get rid of dark circles. You must also decrease your daily intake of salt, caffeine and sugar rich drinks and alcohol.
Water: Drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday. This keeps your skin hydrated and helps flush out the toxins from the body.
Lemon and cucumber: Take the juice of 1 cucumber and add 1 tbsp lemon juice to it. Apply it on the dark circles and leave it on for 20 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water.
Turmeric: Turmeric is widely used as a flavoring agent and is also a great herbal remedy for treating dark circles. Take ½ tsp of turmeric powder and mix it with 1 tbsp of pineapple juice. Apply this around the eyes for treating dark circles.
