    During the period of menopause, the entire system of endocrine glands is affected, mainly the thyroid, gonads, and pituitary glands. In few women, the menopausal period takes place without any unpleasant symptoms, the only major change really being the cessation of menstrual flow. There are, however, a large section of women who develop mild or severe disturbing symptoms such as night sweats, hot flushes, tension, insomnia, depression, irritability and diminished interest in sex. Other symptoms felt by woman are palpitations, fatigue, dizziness, numbness and headaches. Disturbing symptoms related with menopause spring up from the fact that the ovaries are no longer producing their normal amount of estrogen, which is the dominant female hormone.

    Beetroot Juices
    The beetroot juice has been found very helpful in menopausal disorders. It should be consumed in thrice a day in small quantities of 60 to 90 ml. it is the best natural dietary method to get relief in menopausal disorder.

    Carrot juices
    The Carrot has also been found helpful in menopausal tension. A fresh carrot should be boiled in a cup of cow’s milk for about fifteen minutes and drank daily as medicine in the treatment of menopausal disorder.

    Indian Spikenard
    The herb Indian spikenard is a good remedy for some disturbances due to menopause. It should be taken in small doses of 1-2 gm daily. It relaxes the nervous system and induces a state of peace to the mind.

    Regunova plus

    Regunova plus is the best natural menstrual regulator. It is beneficial for all kinds of menstrual disorder. It is also helps in restoring pH of the vaginal secretions, reduces the chances of further infections.

    Nutrients

    At the time of menopause, lack of ovarian hormones may result in mild or severe calcium deficiency so a larger than usual consumption of calcium may help greatly. Vitamin D is also necessary for absorption of calcium. Any female experiencing disturbing symptoms at this period should supplement her daily diet with 500 mg of magnesium, 1,000 units of natural vitamin D and obtain 2 gm of calcium in her daily diet.
