Some home cures for people with burns
There are a number of treatments that can be used to treat burns simply as well as effectively. This is a list of some treatments that are available for you to try:
You can soak the burnt area in milk for around fifteen to twenty minutes; this will have a soothing effect on the burnt area. Another possibility is an aloe leaf; you can spread its liquid directly on to the burn itself. This will help to heal and relieve the burn with its cooling juice. Its even possible to put Colgate toothpaste on the burnt area. You could even apply two table spoons of yoghurt on to the burnt area.
Wash the burn carefully with cold water to relieve the discomfort and then apply a cold compress straight afterwards. Carefully put an ice pack on to the burn but never apply ice straight to the burn itself, always have something between the ice and the burn itself. You can also put kerosene oil on to the burn right after it happens.
Another method is to use the juice from a mashed up potato to relieve the burn. Also you can take two tablespoons of sandalwood powder mixed with two teaspoons of multani mitti. Mix these together in rose water and then put it on to the affected part of your body. You could also take cucumber peel and mix it with a tea spoon of milk. Blend these together and apply to the burn.
A traditional cure is to use 5 tablespoons of calamine lotion added to six tablespoons of water, then add to this one tea spoon of glycerin. Blend these together, put the mixture on to the burn for around thirty minutes and then remove it with cold water.
