How to control blood sugar level of an old diabetic patient.

Hi, From last 20 years, my father is diabetic. From last 2 yrs, my father started using insulin. Before that he was using medicines. Currently, the blood sugar level is not controlling even by insulin. I want to ask that is there any herbal product that I can recommend to my dad along with insulin. Please advice me. Thanks.
