How to get rid of Anorexia
Anorexia is also known as loss of appetite; it is a symptom of disturbed digestion and common in all diseases which lead to general weakness. Inability of the stomach to secret gastric juices due to low vitality is the cause for this disease.
Persons suffering from anorexia may experience indifferent to food and suffer from insomnia and become lean.
Ginger is good remedy for digestion. One piece of ginger root should be washed well and chew with little salt frequently is a good remedy for this treatment. Ginger doubles appetite.
Garlic stimulates the digestive tone of the system and improves appetite. Four cloves of raw garlic should be boiled in a cup of water with one lemon juice. Take this juice twice daily is good for patients suffering from anorexia.
Apples are another useful fruit in anorexia. They improve the digestion by stimulating the flow of pepsin, a protein digesting enzyme, in the stomach.
Sour grapes will tone up the stomach and improve the appetite. The juice of these grapes used in kneading the flour before preparing wheat tortilla. Wheat tortilla made in this way should be eaten continuously for two to three weeks.

About one teaspoon of the juice of lime should be mixed with an equal quantity of the ginger juice and one gram of rock salt. It should then be kept in sunlight for three days. A teaspoon taken soon after each meal will tone up the digestive system and improve the appetite.
