How to get rid of Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)
Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) is an encroachment by the bacteria of the urinary tract which includes ureters, kidney, urethra or bladder. This bacterium enters the opening of the urethra and procreates in the urinary tract causing mild or severe urinary tract infection. If it is not corrected in the earlier stages it is likely to spread to your kidneys, which can become serious health problems. This can be generally very painful and a major cause of distress in your life. The infection of the bladder can develop into cystitis- a very common issue faced by women. Children too suffer mild to severe from this disorder but the headcount is very low in comparison to adults. Urinary Tract Infection can infect anyone but women are largely susceptible to this disease.
It is very important for your system to have a very good flow of urine. Generally drinking plenty of water, it cleanses your body by diluting and flushing out the unwanted substance in proper interval.
You can make an essential oil by using equal parts of bergamot, sandalwood, tea tree, juniper and frankincense. Mix all these said ingredients to make an oil to be rubbed well over your bladder area. Continue this massaging technique for four to five days once the symptoms subside.
Haritaki-Terminalia chebula
Terminalia chebula has been used as an astringent and is the best bowel cleanser. The herb also possesses antibacterial and anti-oxidant properties. It is also said to promote wisdom, intellect, and eyesight. It is mild laxative and upto certain extent carminative too. Terminalia chebula is also used for treating ulcers, vomiting, colic pain, urinary infections, diabetes, skin diseases, stomach upset and hemmorhoids
A mixture of one teaspoon baking soda in eight ounce cup of water can be very beneficial on the first signs of urinary tract infection. The presence of baking soda in your system raises the acid-base balance of the acidic urine.
Cranberry juice disallows bacteria to stick to the cell, which line the urinary tract. It is a great remedy to combat this infection. If you cannot consume the cranberry juice directly you can mix it with apple juice to add some taste.
