Hello and Greetings from Ayuurvediccure.com

AUTOMATED DIFFERENTIAL NORMAL RANGES      monocytes absolute  for > 16 years 0.2 – 0.9

MANUAL DIFFERENTIAL NORMAL RANGES            monocyte percent        All ages 0 – 10

Monocytes are type of White blood cells that are part of the immune system main function of its phagocytosis, antigen presentation, cytokine production etc. These are produced in the bone marrow.

Mostly the Monocytes count will be low in case if person is taking Steroids in some cases.

Most of the monocytes stays in spleen and will come out  into circulation in case of infection , so the chances are of healthy body so the monocytes in your body were stored in spleen and the  blood test  may not show as many of them.  As far as isolated / only monocytes count changes is not  Indicative of any thing wrong in the body.

Eat appropriate protein diet and vitamin diet such as fish, chicken, mushrooms, sheep bone marrow, eggs, peanutmilk, fresh fruits and vegetables.

Further queries are always welcome.
