Hello and greetings from

Hyperuricemia is high levels of uric acid in the blood. In humans, the normal range is 6.8 mg/dL for men. Increased uric acid is not a disease and by itself is not dangerous .If excess uric acid levels lead to formation of crystals between the joints, gout can develop. Please remember not all who have high levels of uric acid, develop gout.

Gout results in an inflammation of the joint. This is due deposition of uric acid crystals in the joint spaces. It is a very painful condition causing swelling, redness, pain and stiffness of the joint. Gout mainly affects the big toe but it can affect other joints like  ankles, heels, knees, wrists, fingers etc.

Protein and fat free diet is best for high level of uric acid. So avoid pulses, meat, alcohol, butter and fried foods to stay healthy. Increase fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet. Increase water intake level. Foods high in purines which should be avoided lentils (dals), whole grains, peas, cauliflower, and mushroom. Alcohol intake and Being overweight also adds to the increased levels.

We recommend to take capsules along with Shallaki capsules take one capsule each twice a day after meal with water. This will not only help in reducing the uric acid levels but will also help in building immunity of the body.

We welcome your queries.
