How to treat bleeding piles naturally?
Piles are the inflamed condition of the veins inside or surrounding the rectum. They are also known as hemorrhoids and are characterized by pain while passing stools, bleeding, feeling of soreness and irritation after excreting, itching and discomfort in the rectal region. In severe cases, it becomes difficult for the patient to even sit down.
Chronic constipation is one of the primary causes of piles. This accompanied by the pressure to eliminate hardened stools results in the development of bleeding piles. Excessive use of purgatives tends to irritate and deteriorate the mucus lining of the rectum, resulting in inflammation and bleeding. Piles are also caused during pregnancy. Other factors include standing or sitting for prolonged periods, strenuous work, obesity, stress and tension.
Natural treatment for bleeding piles:
The first and foremost step in treating piles is to relieve constipation. Dry figs are one of the best natural remedies for combating this condition. Soak 3-4 dry figs overnight in water and eat them first thing in the morning. Repeat this treatment in the evening. This should be continued for at least 3-4 weeks. The tiny seeds of fig help stimulate the peristaltic movements of the intestines, thereby facilitating the evacuation of stools and keep the alimentary canal clean.
X-Piles ointment can be applied topically to the affected area. It helps relieve pain, itching and inflammation caused by bleeding piles and speeds up the healing process.
If you are looking to treat bleeding piles, you must drink at least 8-10 glasses of water everyday. This not only keeps the body hydrated but also facilitates bowel movements and softens the hard stools.
White radish is another excellent natural remedy for combating bleeding piles. Take 1 white radish and grate it. Add honey to it and eat every morning on an empty stomach. Alternatively, you can also drink the juice of white radish to treat this painful condition.
Cumin seeds are also effective in treating piles. Roast black cumin seeds and mix them with equal quantity of non-roasted cumin seeds. Grind this into a powder. Taking about ½ tsp of this powder along with a glass of cold water helps in the treatment of piles.
