Is there any ayurvedic treatment for pituitary adenoma?

  • Hello! I’m 41, female. I have a benign pituitary adenoma with increased prolactine level. I should take cabergolin, but this medicine has very strong side effects, so I would like to try for a month or two some natural remedy. Since I have this disease I have low libido, hair loss, sometimes depressions and I’m very often exhausted. My periods are quite regular. I have also strong increased Vata dosha ( diagnosis by an ayurvedic therapist 6 months ago).
    Can Ayurveda maybe help me? Could you recommend me something? Thank you and best wishes.

      Pituitary is most important gland of over body which controls many major functions of vital organs. It controls and affects the secretions from other glands also. We do not supply any medicine for the treatment for pituitary adenoma or increased prolactin level. But recommend you to use Shilajit with other medicines your doctor has prescribed. Shilajit spreads positive energy in all body cells and is a good anti oxidant. It will keep you in good healthy state of mind and body. It will keep your energy level high and help to increase your libido. But do take your medicines regularly for proper and timely treatment of pituitary problem. Further queries are welcome.

      Thank you for your kind answer! Can you also recommend me some additional herbal threatment for my mood swings and depressions, which I don’t have all the time, but specially before the periode? Or it’s Shilajit the medicine for all my problems?

      You should take Ashwagandha for your depression and mood swings problem. It is a safe and herbal medicine which relaxes brain cells. Meditation and yoga will help you a lot in strengthening your mind and body both.
