Natural cure for gastritis

  • Gastritis is the inflammation of the stomach lining known as mucosa and can be acute or chronic in nature. It is primarily caused due to infection by bacteria called Helicobacter Pylori. Other causes include excessive consumption of alcohol, intake of certain medications, injury, surgery, infection, chronic bile reflux, pernicious anemia and certain autoimmune disorders. Gastritis is accompanied by pain in the abdomen, indigestion, nausea, bloating, vomiting, burning in the upper abdomen and feeling of fullness in the abdomen.

    How to treat gastritis naturally?

    Carom seeds are highly beneficial for treating gastritis. Take 1 tsp carom seeds with a pinch of salt to treat this condition.

    Ginger is an excellent herbal remedy for treating a number of ailments, including gastritis. Chewing a small piece of ginger prior to taking meals aids digestion and prevents gastritis.

    A combination of spinach and carrot juice is also recommended for treating gastritis. This should be taken once a day to prevent and treat this condition.

    Asparagus is known for its antispasmodic properties and reduces the burning sensation in the abdomen caused by gastritis. The root of Asparagus enhances digestion and controls hyperacidity.
