Almonds are very helpful in relaxing the mind and relieving a person from anxiety. You can soak about 10 almonds overnight and peel their skin the following morning and eat them. Alternatively, you can make an almond milkshake by grinding 10 almonds with a pinch of ginger and nutmeg added to a cup of warm milk. Drinking this right before bedtime helps combat anxiety effectively.

Oranges are great for combating anxiety and help get rid of restlessness and worry. They are widely used by aroma therapists across the world since their aroma has a calming effect on the mind of an individual and brings down anxiety. Inhaling the soothing aroma of an orange peel helps relax the mind. Alternatively, you can add the peels of 1 orange to boiling water and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Inhaling the steam helps treat anxiety naturally.

Bacopa or Brahmi supplements are widely recommended for the treatment of anxiety. This herb has a calming effect on the mind and is available in the form of herbal dietary supplements.

Honey is another effective natural remedy for treating anxiety. Extract the juice of 1 fresh orange and add 1 tsp honey to it along with a pinch of nutmeg. This helps bring down the rapid heart beat that is associated with anxiety attacks.

Rosemary is a popular herb widely recommended for the treatment of anxiety. It has a calming effect on the nerves and can be used in the form of herbal tea for getting quick relief from anxiety. Take 1-2 tsp of dried Rosemary and allow it to simmer for 10 minutes in a cup of boiling water. Drink while it is hot.
