Hello charles
Triphala powder is best if you can use daily. Take some triphala powder on index finger and rub it gently over the gums and teeth. Then rinse with normal water. It acts as antimicrobial agent and clears infection. It increases immunity and refreshes oral cavity. Avoid brushing your teeth during this problem. Further queries are welcome.
