  • Acne is an annoying disease that results due to over-stimulation of the sebaceous glands. These glands produce sebum or oil that combines with the acne causing bacteria known as propionibacterium acnes, thereby resulting in the outbreak of pimples, zits and blackheads. Acne is one of the most common skin ailments causing a great deal of distress among teenagers and young adults between the age group of 15-35 years and seems to always occur when you need it the least.
