Simple remedies for sunburn

This mixture can be stored in the refrigerator. Another lotion for sunburns can be prepared with a mixture of six teaspoons of olive oil and three teaspoons of cider. Add one teaspoon of iodine and a little bit of vinegar. This mixture can also be stored in an airtight container for continuous use. Keep applying this mixture to the sunburned area with a soft cloth to achieve a soothing effect. Cucumber can also be directly applied to the area in thin slices dipped in fresh lemon juice.
Make a paste of crushed Marigold flowers and wheat germ oil and apply to the affected area to control itchiness and discomfort. Another home remedy for treating the aftereffects of sunburns is to dissolve a few crushed strawberries in buttermilk and apply that mixture to relax the affected area.
