Gastritis can be defined as swelling or inflammation in the stomach, especially of the mucous membrane of the stomach. This can either be mild/ acute or chronic/ severe.

Gastritis is mainly characterized by symptoms like loss of appetite, vomiting, nausea, headache, and dizziness. The affected persons will have discomfort and pain in their stomachs. In addition to the above, other symptoms are coated tongue, bad taste in your mouth, foul breath, and increase in the saliva flow, insufficient urination etc. Such persons will feel uneasy and be mentally depressed.

Take one tsp of ajwain in combination with one pinch of salt. Take this mixture with water that is lukewarm. Drink coconut water twice a day. Mix spinach juice 200 ML with carrot juice 300 ML; drink once a day. Application of heat on your stomach when it is empty using either hot bags/ water bottle will cure gastritis. Drink potato juice ½ cup prior to meals.
Put ½ teaspoon of tea made from licorice root in one cup of water; boil for 10 minutes and filter it. Drink the resultant liquid. Repeat three times in one day. Drink lot of juices and water. Mix 125 gm of curd with 2 gm of Sprague and ½ gm of black salt. Mix 6 parts of Sprague powder with one part black salt; take 2 gm of this with water that is warm.
Drink curd/ buttermilk with asafetida/ cumin water. Put peach leaves 2 tsp in boiling water in a cup; drink this after ten minutes. Repeat this thrice a day. Immerse a few figs in water that is warm and leave it to soak for ten minutes; then filter and drink the water. Roast fennel seeds; chew after meals. Drink rice gruel one cup twice a day. Before meals chew fresh ginger.
