Treatment for cyst on testis.

I have a cyst on my testis and my doctor told me to just leave it. But my girlfriend doesn’t like it. Is there anything I can do to get rid of it?

Cyst is a closed sac different from the normal structure of tissue. Cysts are of different types and can be at any part or organ of body. Cysts have a external sac called capsule and this capsule can contain gas, liquid or solid material in it. Generally cysts are caused due to chronic inflammations, mutations, hereditary reasons, and birth defects or by normal wear and tear of tissue. Cyst can be felt with hands or is visible by normal eyes if it is superficial in location like in skin. But generally the diagnosis is made by x-ray, ultrasound imaging techniques etc. Cysts on testis and penis are also very normal and if there is no pain or complication, it can be ignored. As you want to remove the cyst, we suggest you to go for surgical removal of your cyst. Surgical excision of cyst is best and permanent cure. Further queries are welcome.
