Hello and greetings from Ayurvediccure.com
Alcoholism is a disease with impaired control over drinking. A person with alcoholism keep drinking alcohol in spite of its bad effects on health and negative consequences on social and economic status of the individual. At this stage the dependence and alcohol withdrawal symptoms arise. There is no relation between vitamin deficiency and alcoholism. No specific data is available to prove that a specific vitamin deficiency is the causative factor for alcoholism problem. Alcoholism can cause many health problems like liver cirrhosis, nutritional deficiency in body, epilepsy and many other psychic problems, cancer, sexual problems, pancreatitis, heart and kidney diseases and many more. Alcoholic person generally ignores meals and since liver activity is reduces so both these factors create nutritional deficiency and no specific vitamin deficiency can be pointed out. So a proper nutritional diet should be given to person suffering from alcoholism and proper treatment should be taken to come out of this addiction. Further queries are welcome.
