What is the treatment of white-yellowish discharge from the vagina?

Hi, I am 19 years old. Today in the morning when I was in restroom I thought I had had my periods but it was this white yellowish discharge. It doesn`t smell though can someone tell me what it is?

This yellowish white discharge is the secretion from female genital tract and is very much normal if it comes rarely and in small quantity. But sometimes the discharge is continuous, irritating in quantity or is enough to wet the clothes and may be foul smelling which is a problem called leaucorrhoea. This is because of infections which turn chronic sometimes as the reproductive tract in females is very prone to infections. This makes the reproductive system weak and reduces vitality of whole female body. It can even disturb the menstrual cycle and reproductive life if not treated in time.
