What is the ayurvedic treatment for tonsillitis and low immunity?

Hi, I have a daughter. She is 1 year & 7 month, she is always sick because of tonsillitis. Doctors are not removing because of she is to small for the operation now she is already sick for more than 6 month even with the antibiotics she is sick. Can you please advise if Ashwagandha can help in this case or what I can do for her? Thank you in advance.

Tonsillitis is the inflammation of tonsils by some infection and generally babies are affected by this disease. This is very painful disease and generally becomes a main reason of weak health and immunity in children. Fever, throat pain and painful swallowing make children weak. Some children get repeated infections of tonsils and then the only solution left is surgical excision of tonsils. The procedure is called tonsillectomy and is very safe procedure. But generally it is performed after five years of age. So till then you should take very good care of your baby to avoid him getting infections and fever. There is no need to give any medicines continuously. Even excess of medicines have bad effect on babies. Keep your baby warm and avoid cold weather, cold eatables etc to prevent throat infections. Give him simple homemade meals. Chwayanprash a general health and immunity booster and a powerful health tonic are good for babies. You can give your babies a tea or decoction of Ginger, holy basil. This helps in the treatment of infections and common cold. Both herbs are good to increase the self defense mechanism of our body. Ashwagandha is also a good general health tonic, brain tonic and immunity enhancer.
