Hello And greetings from Ayurvedic Cure

Vomiting is generally force full expulsion of food contents from stomach. In your case it has happened due to specific response(over consumption of alcohol).
In vomiting person is often at the risk of blockage of respiratory tract by reversing of food particles. But normally this is avoided due to natural coughing during vomiting. But if one has drunk then might be these reflex don’t work and often food blocks the respiratory tract and same thing happened in your case that has caused you to suffocate temporarily.
